   Daria accepts 3 fragile hospice wishes whose papers carry the same Pohl Estate trail and wonders whether they have been arranged as a trap.

   I make dying strangers' last wishes come true. Hospice nurse Nomvula Dlamini sent me to the Salt River desk because she trusts me with referrals she cannot refuse.

   The clients pay only after they accept proof. I visit them at home, in hospital or in hospice, and I never pretend to be anyone else.

   Aisha Jacobs, a dying widow, wants proof of where her vineyard money went. Solomon Grey, a dying father, wants his son back inside his seaside house. Iris Bell, a hospice patient, wants Tamsin Kade, a registrar declared dead.

   My mother Marika Van is losing the family house in Observatory. Her call came again, and her unfinished drawing was trapped beneath my windscreen while I drove away.

   Aisha's receipt had a Pohl stamp. Solomon's referral was copied. Iris knew Tamsin's medical cuff number. Had 3 clients been chosen to lead me somewhere?

   I photographed every matching detail and accepted all 3 before the storm arrived. I could walk away, but none of them had the time I needed to check alone.

   A loose wiper blade snapped across the dashboard and cut my thumb. The sketch caught, and part of the blue door tore away.

   I did see enough to suspect a trap. I accepted the cases anyway and drove west because their time was running out, but Solomon's copied sheet pointed toward Ethan Grey, his son.

   The Tablet Versus Truth

   A rival wish fulfiller offers Solomon Grey a staged reunion video, and Daria must prove the copied hospice referral is the stronger evidence.

   I was at the Hermanus service station because Solomon Grey's hospice file pointed to Ethan Grey, his estranged son. Nika Sello, a rival wish fulfiller, was already there with the same client.

   Nika offered Ethan a cheap staged video recorded on his old school tablet. He wanted the proof more than he wanted the truth.

   I showed him that Solomon's referral had been copied from Marius Grey's file. Ethan grabbed Nika's tablet and nearly threw it into the rain.

   Daria? No. I caught the case against my palm and kept the copied sheet. Ethan stopped once he saw the real header instead of the staged family scene.

   Nika admitted Pohl Estate paid for her visit. Ethan left us with a route to Solomon's bedside, and I was still carrying Aisha's accepted estate proof.

   Under the Locked Gate

   Daria follows Iris Bell's medical-transfer number to a locked Pohl gate and must survive a security assault long enough to photograph the vehicle log.

   I went to the Pohl Estate loading yard because Iris Bell gave me Tamsin Kade's medical cuff number, Kade-19. Security supervisor Abram Naidoo locked the gate before I could see the vehicle log.

   Abram ordered me to crawl under it after I refused to say a delivery code. He filmed me while my shoulder hit the gravel and my proof packet burst.

   I turned the recorder toward Abram and told him I would name the copied hospice referrals unless he opened the gate. My camera strap was wet, but it was still on my shoulder.

   He unlocked the gate as if he were helping me. The first log I photographed showed Kade-19 attached to a Pohl vehicle after the storm transfer.

   I forced the depot gate open. I got the number, lost skin on my shoulder, and left the house sketch more damaged than I wanted.

   Then the user warned that a black car was following my route. The coastal road was faster, but every camera at Pohl's depot would catch my plate.

   The False Headline

   A hospice nurse's false report gets Daria banned and turns her truck into evidence, but Daria chooses whether to expose the nurse or lose her referral network.

   I took the coastal shortcut because the user marked it as faster. The cameras caught my plate, the storm tore my mother's house sketch apart, and I reached the hospice after Iris Bell had gone.

   Iris was supposed to be there. A report said I abandoned her to follow a private estate trail, and the image of my truck beside the Pohl depot made the accusation look true.

   Hospice nurse Nomvula Dlamini admitted she gave the reporter that lie. She said Felix's pressure forced her to sign copied referrals and release them to keep her licence.

   I could have exposed her confession and cleared myself. Instead I refused, so the hospice administrator banned me and my network began treating me like a thief.

   Aisha Jacobs, the dying widow whose vineyard proof I brought, accepted the estate photograph by phone. She would not let me use Nomvula as a shield.

   The ban cost me access, but Aisha's acceptance kept one legal foothold. She then said Felix Naidoo ordered Iris's transfer, and a black service truck waited outside.

   The Depot Goes Public

   Daria takes Aisha Jacobs' accepted estate proof to the Velddrif courthouse and tries to force Pohl's secret depot route into a public record.

   I went to the Velddrif courthouse because Aisha's accepted photo and my camera timestamp were the only proof the hospice administrator could not hide. The black service truck followed me.

   It stopped when I reached the public gates. For 1 minute I could breathe without looking over my shoulder, but I could not leave without risking Aisha's proof.

   Vineyard manager Pieter Human had hidden behind hospice confidentiality. In front of the court clerk, he named Pohl's Atlantic depot as the place where the vineyard sale proceeds were rerouted.

   A depot clerk confirmed that a vehicle carrying Kade-19's transfer number left during the storm. The court opened a temporary file because the evidence was finally public.

   The pressure eased for a minute. Aisha's family still refused payment until I proved Tamsin Kade was alive, so I left the money in the courthouse trust box.

   The black truck withdrew, and I kept only the blue-door scrap under my windscreen. The depot address was exposed now, so I chose to enter Felix Naidoo's public office in daylight.

   The Locked Laundry Room

   Daria must make Ethan Grey reveal how the seaside house was used while Jacob Molefe uses unwanted closeness to block her escape.

   Felix Naidoo, the Pohl Estate manager, let me leave his office with the copied referral. Ethan Grey, Solomon Grey's estranged son, had the original key in that laundry room.

   Depot clerk Jacob Molefe shut the door and held a dry coat against me, saying Felix could keep me warm, fed and hidden.

   He trapped my wrist when I pushed him away. I forced his arm down, but his face was already on the depot camera.

   Ethan gave me the truth. His father Solomon's seaside house had been used to sort copied hospice files, and Jacob's service booking matched the transfer route.

   I left with Ethan's statement and the booking, but Felix now had my face. I needed Solomon's original file before Felix used it to find me.
